Recently Bihar government has released an official recruitment notification for the post of constable. The application process is started for this vacancy. After the cancelation of Bihar police constable exam 2018, students are waiting for new updates for a long time. Finally, CSBC has released Official notice for 11,880 vacancies in Bihar police.

Important Dates for Bihar Police 2019

Online Application Start from 05 October 2019
Registration Last Date is 04 November 2019
Last Date for Fee Payment is 04 November 2019, Exam date and admit card date will be notified soon.

Age Limit as on 01/08/2019

Minimum Age: 18 Years and Max. Age should be 25 Yrs.

Important for those candidates who applied Advt no. 02/2018

According to the official notification Valid applicants of Advt no. 02/2018 will be given the opportunity to appear in the examination. Candidate should not pay any fee for this examination But they have to re-apply.

Level of Written examination

The written examination will be based on 10+2 level and will be objective in nature. The written examination will be of 100 marks, for which time of 2 hours will be given. Based on the marks obtained in the written examination, 5 times of all vacant posts will be selected for the physical.

Important Notice: The final merit list will be not based on written examination. The written exam is only Qualifying in nature.

Students who pass the written examination will be called for physical examination. The physical examination will be done in two stages. In the first phase, the chest and height of the candidates will be measured. For this, they will not be given any marks but it is mandatory to qualify. There will be no relaxation in the minimum set criteria.

For UR and OBC (male): Minimum 165 cm
For EBC(male): Min 162 cm
Sc/St(male): 160 cm
Female for all Categories: 155 cm(min)

Chest Only for male candidates
General/BC/EBC: 81-86 cm
ST/SC and Gorkha: 79-84 cm

The second stage of physical examination is Race, Shotput and High jump. For which 100 marks will be given.

All these three categories with marks are mentioned below.

1. Race (Full marks 50)

For male (1600 mtr)
Within 5 mins.- 50 marks
Within 5 mins. 20 sec. – 40 marks
Within 5:20 to 5:40 – 30 marks
Within 5:40 to 6 min. – 20 marks
note: More than 6 minutes will be disqualified.

For female (1000 mtr)
Within 4 minutes – 50 marks
Within 4:00-4:20 sec. – 40 marks
Within 4:20-4:40 sec. – 30 marks
Within 4:40- 5min – 20 marks

2. High Jump (Full marks 25)

For Male (minimum 4 feet)
4 feet to 4″4′ – 13 marks
More than 4″4′ to 4″8′ – 17 marks
More than 4″8′ to 5″ – 21 marks
More than 5″ – 25 marks
Candidate below 4 feet will be disqualified

For female (minimum 3 feet)
3 feet to 3″4′ – 13 marks
3″4′ to 3″8′ – 17 marks
3″8′ to 4″ – 21 marks
More than 4″ – 25 marks
Candidate below 3 feet will be disqualified

3. Shot Put(25 Marks)

For male candidates (16-pound ball)
16 to 17 feet- 9 marks
17 to 18 feet- 13 marks
18 to 19 feet- 17 marks
19 to 20 feet- 21 marks
More than 20 feet 25 marks will be given

For Female candidates (12-pound ball)
12 to 13 feet- 9 marks
13 to 14 feet- 13 marks
14 to 15 feet- 17 marks
15 to 16 feet- 21 marks
More than 16 feet 25 marks will be given
